Good pitching. Yes, so far so good.

Timely hitting. Absolutely. Ankiel’s first inning homer set the tone.

Defense. for the most part adequate.

Individuals: We have to get Glaus off the snide and hopefully control  his temper from his frustration. Barton showed he wants to be the leadoff hitter. Makes me feel bad for Skip.

Miles has shown to be a good replacement type player with an RBI hit.

All in all, things look good.

Looking good.

The starting pitching has been above expectations. Today was the biggest with a very good outing from Thompson. I like LaRue as a backup as he handles pitchers very well. Ankiel has been terrific and Ludwick has popped the ball. Great arm from Schumaker but his hitting hasn’t found a stride yet.

Reyes in the pen is awesome for the one outing. He keeps that up and we have some trade fodder for any weakness we may find. Izturis is my main concern as he hasn’t shown much.

Let’s keep it going and surprise alot of people.
