Yes the marathon is coming to a close. But until they are mathematically eliminated, the Cardinals can still do it.
Let’s make it about 15 wins in a row and see what happens.

The Cardinals have put away two games in a row and now must maintain a phenomenal record to catch the Brewers. The good thing is that they still play Milwaukee six more time this season. So it can be done.
Garcia goes today at home. We need everyone healthy the next 45 games to have a chance.

Cardinals Come Out of the Funk

I wrote 2 or 3 negative blog articles in a row and since then the Cardinals have responded with 4 straight wins. therefore, I feel compelled to give them their dues as they struggled mightily to sweep the series from the Marlins. Let’s hope they can continue their winning ways for 3 more games vs. the Brewers. Will there be fireworks?

Cardinals Get a Whoopin’ – Brewers flex

The Brewers flexed their muscles and put it to the Cardinals by winning 2 of 3 this week. Of Course, the Birds are not out of it but they have to start winning series again.
Edwin Jackson was the sacrificial pitcher as he had to stay out there even though he didn’t have his best stuff. Now the Cardinals travel to Florida and the the Brewers come to town. They have not been a good team on the road so this is the chance to get even.
We need to win 3 out of 4 in Florida.

BTW: I have not weigh in but I like the trades the Cardinals have made and am particularly pleased to see Furcal with Birds on the Bat on his uniform.
Cardinals Tirade Not Needed- Everyone Already Knows

I am going to save everyone some time and just get to the crux of my thoughts and be done with it. No need to say the same thing 42 times like some bloggers love to do. Just say it and get out.
The Cardinals are not a very good team. They just played two of the worst teams in the Major Leagues and managed to win 4 games out of 7. These were the Astros (2-2) and the Cubs (2-1). This is simply not acceptable.
