Andruw Jones? Jayson Werth?

Andruw Jones is being bantered back and forth at BOTB. I say NO to one year or three year deals. He is going to command upwards of $12 million per year. We can spend that money more wisely elsewhere. Like, maybe, Pitching. Starting pitching. What a novel idea….. to get pitching.

We don’t need another outfielder. Let’s continue with the cheap outfielders for another year (minus Edmonds) and see what production we can get. Duncan. Ludwick, Ankiel and Schumaker can do just fine. I know, I know. Those are almost all left handed batters. We can find a way to make it better. Here is one for you. Jayson Werth. A righthander with some pop. Can play all the outfields.Good arm and is from the Springfield, Il area. (although that doesn’t really matter)
