Defining moment
the next 2 series…. Or at least the first one. We must win 5 out of the next 6 and then 4 of the next 6 games to see if we even remotely have a chance to compete. If we don’t, then we trudge through the season with plenty of griping to do.
I hope Walt only has 2 days vacation left this winter, as he has lots of work to do.

Well… the Cards are only 6.5 back and in second place. The offense has looked pretty good as of late and the pitching, aside from Wells has been decent. How you feelin about the team now?
Looking better but are we playing good teams? Probably not. However, in the NLC anything can still happen.
Sure, we’re not playing the Mets every series but good teams beat up on the the bad teams. Besides, all I’m looking for is a spot in the post season and from there you never know what can happen. The Brewers are struggling and everyone else in the Central has serious flaws. If we can play .666 ball against our division we’ll be in a great spot.
