Cardinals, Minor Leagues and History for May 6

We knew it was coming. The Cubs absolutely handled the Cardinals this weekend. They swept the Cardinals out of first place. I am not going to write “blame” here because everyone has a different idea on how the club could improve. I can’t ignore the fact that the Cubs were just plain better in all aspects of the games.

They move back home for a series against the Phillies (19-12) and then play the Pirates this weekend. We need to get back on track.
