Comparing Stats for the Top Pitchers in the Cardinals Organization
The Cardinals Top 20 Prospects have now complete a bit over half of the season. The Cardinals are now considering making some roster moves by trade or call-ups. Let’s look at the stats of these 20 players and make some analysis of it.
A few pitchers were left out that are on the Top 20 because they are either already with the Big League club or on the year-long disabled list.
Shelby Miller has struggled at Memphis but Carlos Martinez has held steady. The biggest climber appears to be John Gast as he has been a consistent winner in 2012. Miller and Gast led the organization in strikeouts and have a very solid BB/K ratio. Stock is 5-0 this season but has an ERA near 5 and Jenkins has pushed
over that mark.
