James Ramsey 3 for 5 in pro debut-Wong 3 for 3-Shelby Miller falls to 4-7
Craig Can Play
Allen Craig knows how to play baseball. He hit two home runs, TWO, into the centerfield grass. That is about 860 ft for a pair of dingers! Then he made a spectacular play to end the game. He is a very good player in several positions.
Last year when I attended Spring Training in Jupiter, Florida, I came away with two undiscovered, by me, facts.
Allen Craig can hit
David Freese can hit
These have proven to be a true fact.
Also, Kyle Lohse pitched another gem. He has been very good this season and it was a lucky stroke the Cardinals couldn’t get him traded in the off-season. In actuality he has been as good as Lance Lynn.
