Is there such a thing as a ROOGY?

I know the LOOGY part. Why do we not hear of the other?

Too many righthanders out there? That is all I can muster as a guess.

Any thoughts on that?

That’s kind of how TLR likes to use Springer. He’s been decent with lefties too, but he still rarely works more than one inning.

In fact, if there are one or two outs to end a difficult inning, and the batter(s) is right-handed, you can almost bet Springer will get the call.
