"I'm going to go out there and explore the market," Rodriguez said. "They had six years. They didn't get anything done with me. If I wait six years, why not wait another 2 1/2 months?" Rodriguez turned down a three-year, $34 million deal from the Angels last winter, but as a 26-year-old who has more first-half saves than anyone in baseball history he's in line to make far more than that as a free agent.
