Adam Kennedy’s spring batting average dropped to .176 with an 0-for-three afternoon against the Dodgers, and when asked what was wrong, he said: “The list is really long.” Usually this early in March a sub-.200 average for a veteran isn’t alarming, but Kennedy is coming off a career-low .219 last season and knows his margin for error is slim.

Time to send Kennedy packing. We have several infielders and don’t need the albatross on the bench. Cut our ties, pay whatever penalties we have to and go. Just go. DFA

Let Miles play if needed. Jimenez. Ryan. Almost anyone.

Hit the road, Adam!
