“It’s like hitting a skunk.”
The sweep by the Rockies and losing 5 in row makes us smell really bad. In fact it permeated the whole area. We all were drenched and came out sputtering.
But the Cardinals winning big and then coming from behind in another begins to put some reminder distance between us and those terrible facts.
It is like driving down the road and you hit a skunk. It smells.
But the further you drive the more it goes away and the reminders lessen.
Let’s keep driving.
