Good point about not paying for the declining years motle. Don't pay for what a guy did in the past, pay for what you project going forward. Totally agree about Skip staying a second, as Goold's article in the p.d. pointed out, Skip was better than average(per + -) in the second half of the season. Schumaker has basically turned into Kelly Johnson, the guy the Cardinals were rumored to ship out Ryan Ludwick for this past offseason-sometimes the best deals are the ones you don't make. 3/3 on Thurston being a no for 2010, not surprising lol. Thurston simply has no place on the 2010 team haha and I tend to agree: ANYTHING is better than him!
