Go ahead, Backe. Talk trash to me, man! Get in Albert’s face and tell him how you have 22 wins in your lifetime. That will give you alot of street cred. Let him know that you dont appreciate his slide into your catcher even though he said he probably was wrong. Get some press over. You stood up to El Hombre. You know what you did?

On another note: Skip looked good tonight against the Astros. That team doesn’t look very good, although Tejada has looked terrific in the field.
Izzy just does his job. Leading the league in saves.
3 series so far. Winners of 3 series. Impressive.
On to SF for some late night TV watching.

I’m kinda with Albert in blowing this off. The biggest thing with AP was that he led off innings in a one-run game twice. They had to pitch to him. If they’d walked him a couple of times, we’d not be even mentioning Backe.
